Study abroad is one of the most important opportunities for students to learn about the world around them. We think it can be even more than that. Study abroad can be an engine for social change.

ThinkImpact seeks to partner with universities that strive to offer students more robust social entrepreneurship and experiential learning opportunities. Through these partnerships, universities purchase seats in the Innovation Institute. These partnerships are emblematic of a growing movement around the world of practitioners, policy makers and academics who understand the potential of market-based solutions to poverty. Students, too, are eager to join this movement. Many are clamoring for opportunities to enhance their leadership skills and identify networks that can help them leap the barriers to entry so many young entrepreneurs face.

We are thrilled to provide a program that facilitates the success of this movement. Our Innovation Institute goes beyond a traditional internship placement or immersion program. We guide students through an intensive curriculum while providing an environment where they can build their entrepreneurial skills. At ThinkImpact, we are working to build a generation of young people who view development differently and approach chronic social problems in a new way: with more critical thinking, creativity and commitment.
