ThinkImpact and the Stanford Graduate School of Business team up for a new immersion program in Kenya!
A team of 18 Stanford business students will explore new thinking on international development and business for 10 days this winter. The Social Entrepreneurship “Deep- Dive” Service Learning Trip will take students from the boardrooms of Nairobi to the mud huts of Kaloleni, offering a comprehensive view of the challenges that are being faced on the macro and micro levels.
For a portion of the trip, Stanford students will live in the same rural communities in which ThinkImpact worked this past summer. They will live in homestays, engage in immersion activities and formulate an understanding of community assets and social entrepreneurship. Utilizing a Barefoot MBA model, students will ultimately design educational modules to teach business basics to budding community entrepreneurs.
